Tamara Obscura is...

Tamara=
is a Russian variant of the Biblical name "Tamar"... {My pronunciation happens to rhyme with a Camera..!}

Obscura=
Camera Obscura
Noun 1. A darkened enclosure in which images of outside objects are projected through a small aperture or lens onto a facing surface.The camera obscura (Latin for dark chamber) was a novelty optical invention, and one of the ancestral threads leading to the invention of photography; photographic devices today are still known as cameras.

Tamara Sadlo & Tamara Obscura Photography is...

Tamara Obscura Photography is in the business of making art and documenting life lead by the humanist extrovert Photographeress..whose name conveniently rhymes with a camera (hint: Tam-ahhhh-rah). Tamara Obscura Photography has been in business since 2001; having over a dozen years of artistic training and experience featuring photographer, Tamara Sadlo adopting the super hero alter ego name Tamara Obscura.

A Minneapolis native, Obscura focuses on portrait, music and event clients.
The focus has always been to work WITH people. Documenting the stories that faces have to tell; this is what Ms. Obscura refers to as a diary collective of beauty that is documented in the emotion of mannerisms of every individual life.

A lover of life, friendship and love, Tamara Obscura is a proud supporter of the GLBT community. A subscriber to the humanism philosophy [i.e., The belief that people are inherently good], Obscura has a spectrum of experience working with and learning various personalities and functions of sociological environments. Obscura has experience working with vulnerable adults from her previous work with the developmentally disabled and persons with special needs. Veteran to extreme socializing from the music night club scene, Obscura is experienced working with people in crowds as big a thousand souls to setting a studio as intimate and quiet as capturing a mother-to-be portrait awaiting baby at the end of pregnancy.

Ms. Obscura enjoys her life paired with the company of loud music, snuggling with her geriatric dog, enjoying spicy food & top shelf whiskey, learning from her smarty-pants-friends with heated thought-provoking-conversation, and most importantly...
Obscura has a passion for shamelessly laughing-out-loud and discovering new faces to photograph!
